The first useful check
A restart policy is useful only when the service definition matches the application it runs.
Inputs and prerequisites
Identify the intended user, executable, environment source, working directory and the application’s ready signal. A process that starts is not necessarily ready to serve a request.
A small, reversible procedure
Make one unit change, validate the unit syntax and inspect the service status and logs after restart. Keep a clear distinction between an application exit, a dependency failure and a restart loop.
What to record after the check
Record the unit name, the last meaningful log line, the restart count and the test request used after the change.
Scope and service boundary
This does not provide monitoring, an uptime commitment or a managed restart policy. Malaysia, Romania and Switzerland are server-country choices; they do not establish a backup country, facility detail, stock or measured network result.
